Rebate Status for M&P Shield?

I know there are a lot of us who bought the shield during this rebate period. I submitted my rebate online, but have not received any confirmation email that it was received or is in process. Did anybody receive any type of confirmation?

I sent mine in two weeks ago, haven't head anything. They may not even begin processing them until the promotion is over.

Nothing here either, I love the "print this page" page after I submitted, IT HAD NO DATA ON IT! (but you know I still printed it lol, that lame page is my proof) pretty weak for a company as big as S&W, but at least they are taking submissions online.... (maybe??!!)

It says 8-10 weeks on the rebate form.....just be patient and you'll forget about it then bam $75 bucks

Submit Rebate Before Possession?

So, I bought the M&P Shield 9 today...paid in full.

Although I have to wait 10 days to take possession of the firearm, I went online and submitted the rebate info (including a scan of the receipt). The receipt says "Paid" with a $0.00 balance due and makes no mention of having to pick it up on a future date.

Do the S&W rebate folks know (or even care) if I have taken possession or not?

S&W has nothing to do with your pick up....they made a sale that's about it done and done. Now wait 6-8 weeks for your rebate

S&W has nothing to do with your pick up....they made a sale that's about it done and done. Now wait 6-8 weeks for your rebate

Sweet! That's what I thought.

There's probably no direct involvement with S&W anyway. They more-than-likely outsourced the rebate program to some other company.

I too am a bit uncomfortable about the lack of confirmation when you submit online.

But if you do submit online, it is my understanding you don't have to mail anything in correct? I am 99% sure on this understanding but wanted to confirm.
