STI Frames

I live in Alabama, and before i move back to California (im only in the state for 6 months before escaping again), im picking up a pile of STI frames. Some i will keep, so that i can build my own pistols, and some i might sell, if i cannot build them. The question is, should i buy STI 1911 frames, or STI 2011 frames, or both???

Opinions needed.

I would say 2011 frames. The bummer is that with 10+ round magazine possession laws ... Many open and Limited gun shooters in USPSA are not so hot to build up 2011 open guns as those 22 rounds per mag thing won't work anymore.

But 1911 frames are much easier to come by than 2011 frames.

USPSA shooters in Open and Limited divisions that competes out of state will go full up mode when out of state. Just makes it hard to practice with the big sticks while in Kalifornia.

Most folks with 2011s or widebody Limited guns will switch to Limited 10. Widebody 1911/2011 still provide the fastest reload.
