For some strange reason, I like the Teutonic clean lines and simplistic functionality of both my Glock 29 and 43. But, then again, I also drive a Subaru Forester; so go figure.

Cure for Glocktard?

My reasons were valid. Just handling one for any length of time would make my hands sore. Any time I shot one the joint on middle finger would be sore for days after. I always shot high whe going for speed and racking the slide sounded like a rattle trap or a dart gun. I do t know why they don't come with the relief cut under the trigger Gaurd, even Colt is doing it to their 1911 now. Once I did the undercut all the bad stuff disappeared. It allows the barrel to come down to a more reasonable angle. That and getting away from my old training "Weaver", yes, I'm that old and had been away from the game for many years. With a thumbs forward looked grip and a push out the ugly little thing started to become an extension of my hand and I am very confident in bullet placement now. I always shot them well but I would t know it until I got a closer look at the target as opposed to my revolvers that I knew as soon as I pulled the trigger if it was a good shot. So much for the ramblings of an old man learning a new gun and technique. All I really know is Glock's just work and they are fun to work on.Comment

As you found out, the Glocks work great in thumbs forward two handed shooting technique. One handed ... try that with a g21!! Lol! I hated my Glock 21 until I got back into shooting and learned that two handed style.==================

Remember to dial 1 before 911.
Forget about stopping power. If you can't hit it, you can't stop it.

Ladies and Gents, there is no cure for Glocktard. It is a progressive condition.

There's no known cure but it can be treated with more Glocks.I hated Glocks for 30 years and then got such a screaming deal on a G19 that I decided I would play with it. The more I carved on it and stippled it the better it got, at least it didn't hurt my middle finger to shoot it. The a magic of Agency Arms trigger, magwell, Trijicon HD sights and now it is my favorite handgun and I can feel the urge to buy more. Is there a cure or are they like potato chips and you cant have just one?Comment

It took some people 30 years to get over the idea of a 'plastic' gun... Mainly us old timers. Now we know better.
Heck when they first came to America in the 80'S the majority of Americans were so upset because they thought they would pass through metal detectors at airports... During the era of "take this plane to Cuba"....Comment
