We all know they don't show up every day. Doing PPT at LGS Saturday
saw a nice 6" Blue older 1966 Python on display. Being a consignment it has to wait 30 days before DROS. The hazard of waiting for 30 days before BUYING would be a disaster! So now I wait
And NO----it's not on display anymore!
When you cock it---you have to look to see if the cylinder is rotating-- its
so smooth. I've had several Pythons over the years but none since I moved
here in 1995. Even in the 70s and 80s I never held a sixties era Python. I'm
a Colt person 100% but I'll be honest in my assessment over the years ---they
are not as robust as other 357 Magnum revolvers but we all know it's about
the LOOKS! They also have a reasonable weight and their balance is fine, did
I mention they're smooth?
Doesn't have a blued hammer,either.
