i have a serious problem

yesterday I was at J&R in Livermore picking up a couple shotguns that I bought from another calgunner, and I had my new glock blue label card with me "in case of emergency." turns out J&R had exactly one blue label in stock, a G19, (which was on my list of "guns I'm buying in 2017") so I bought that. then on the way home I stopped at the GF&OS range in Dublin. there was about a 45 minute wait, so I went into the store to use the restroom. on my way back, I swung by the handgun department, and they had a springfield MC operator 1911 in stock (also on my "guns I'm buying in 2017" list). and they have a no tax promotion going on all weekend. and springfield has the gear up promotion. so I bought that one too. GF&OS was nice enough to take my money now and hold the 1911 for 30 days until I can start the DROS. lol

i'm such a sucker.

This is exactly why I have to fight the urge to stop at gun shops on my way home from work. There's some other things that I want to buy right now and I just know that those projects will get shelved real quick if I walk into a gun shop.
