    B&T USW 9mm Pistol - Thoughts?

What are your guys thoughts on the B&T USW 9mm, it is coming in without a stock so it is only a pistol NOT an SBR

It is possible for us to permanently attach a thread cap over the barrel making it legal in CA, obviously off-roster

I'd love to own the SBR version, but barring that, it just seems like a bulkier Sphinx. If I lived in a different state, I'd give it some consideration, but it seems mostly pointless here.

      What's the point?

Looks like a large and silly gun with glock slide, cz grip and trigger, 4" barrel, and a dumb stock/optic protrusion on the rear. Guessing full size 17rd capacity?

With that $2300 price tag it carries its not worth it in CA . Id rather get a KRISS Vector

        2)S&W 686 6in barrel ...686 No dash through 686-4

Since we are talking fantasy guns... how do you think it compares to the B&T MP9?

The meaning of PDW has been reduced to a basic 9mm handgun with a flimsy stock?

I haven't shot it, but I've handled it, and I do own a Sphinx, which is what provides the frame on which the USW is built. The stock is not flimsy, and provides a decent cheek weld while still allowing you to holster the gun and adding little weight. The grip is very ergonomic and the trigger is good.

While I am sure B&T quality is excellent, it is sad to see how much the PDW market has been reduced to in CA thanks to the 2017 AW ban. To me, the USW looks much like a Sphynx with a grotesquely extended beavertail. I like the looks of the APC9 better, especially with a SB Tactical brace. When someone makes an arm brace to fit the Tailhook for the USW, I'd reconsider it.

Glad many of us had a chance of getting the MP5/SP5K/clones, the MPX and the Scorpion before the end of 2016 though.
