According to the S&W website, it doesn't exist.

That makes sense. Only new non existent pistols are allowed on roster.

So it's just a Shield that comes with Hi Viz fiber optic sights?

HiViz sights, or a stainless slide?

The existing did had a stainless steel side doesn't it? It just coated in that Melonite finish.

I'm guessing it's sights. They already offer a Performance Center Shield SKU with them.

Probably. Heres a perf center gun with the likely sights...

Was hoping a dealer or someone close to the S&W Rep knows something. But yes, in all likeliness prob just a CA model with Hi Viz.
Prob won't beat the current RG deal though, if you add the sights separately.

Wait, does this mean that these meet micro stamping?

All handguns listed in the roster are approved with or without night sights. Simple change in sights doesn't matter. It's just a CA model with change of sights.

                              No microstamping.

It passes for roster because it is identical to another model currently on roster.
