    Holster suggestions

I have a Sig Sauer MK-25 and a P220 Combat...they look so similar with the Picatinny rails that I think I can get away with the same holster. Eye balling it, it looks like the P220 Combat slide is a touch longer, and a touch more slim.

Anyone be willing to confirm that has knowledge, or these two pistols and can check? I looked at old threads here on CG and Google searches, but there seems to be some conflicting info...

I have a 220 Combat and bought a Sig holster for a 220 w/rail and it does not fit! The Combat rail is bigger. From my research and measuring, the 220 Combat has a 1913 Rail, and the standard 220 with rail is slightly different. The standard rail has a slight concave shape to it and is a tiny bit narrower. The 1913 is the mil-spec size, similar to what AR's have. So, if your MK-25 has a 1913 accessory rail it should be the same as the Combat rail. Not sure about other Frame dimensions though. Hope this helps.

Yes, I was aware a regular 220 holster would not work with either pistol due to rail dimensions. My question is if MK-25 and P220 Combat will be compatible with the same holster...I'm trying to simplify my gear and homogenize as much as possible.

I found another forum that said most holsters should work for both. My suggestion would be to buy the holster you want for one of the guns and keep your fingers crossed that it fits the other one. Or bring both guns to a local shop and test fit with whatever holsters they have in stock.

I just checked the safariland website and the part number for the safariseven holster is the same for both guns - model 7395 - sku 1176343 - part # 7395-477-411. So you should be good to go (with safariland, at least)
