[HELP!] Question about Roster

I'm looking to purchase a new 2017 Kimber Stainless Target II in 9mm on GunBroker.

I know the Kimber Stainless Target II in 9mm is on the roster but I'm worried this 2017 version with the fiber optic front sight isn't. I don't see ones with these optic front sights and these grips in stores in CA so I'm worried because it's updated that this version won't be accepted by a local FFL dealer. I know the Gen 4 Glocks work like this and I don't want to pay a restocking fee if it gets rejected. The roster doesn't show actual model numbers it just shows the name of the gun.

I've called a few FFLs and even Kimber but no one can give me straight answer.

If you can get the SKU of the one you are trying to get, your FFL can check to see if it's in the system.

I suggest calling your FFL and sending him the link to the auction to see if he would do DROS the gun in question.

sucks, because now the Kimber is SOLD

either way, you got screwed by a roster issue, whether it was on there or not

hopefully you can get the information ahead of time on the next one and not lose a potential purchase due to the CA roster

btw, this is what they WANT to happen to you guys - lose out on gun purchases over a minor issue

Then choose the FFL that says it's good to go.

Don't discount the possibility the buyer had seen the auction on this very thread and decided the roster wouldn't be an impediment to his purchase.
