looking for a Glock G21SF

Unless this changed recently, the only 21SF that is on the list is the Glock Rail NON-Ambi mag release.

Yep, just looked at the roster, "21SF-STD" is the only approved model.

It's a standard slim frame what makes it illegal to own in Calif? Is there information not on the DOJ's list? Is there somewhere it says the ambi release is illegal? Thanks

No, the 21SF-STD is the Glock rail.

Looking at my case for my 21SF with Picatinny Rail it says "Glock 21 SF FXD 1913/MB"

FXD = sights
1913 = Picatinny Rail.

If it was Olive Drab green and not Black it would not be on the approved list and would not be legal for new sale in California. That's just how the list works.

Search here on Calguns, there was a thread about letters from the DOJ to people that received the wrong gun (ambi release and Picatinny rail).

There were time where Glock sent the ambi mag release with picatinny rail model into CA and was registered under the standard release with Glock Rail. CA DOJ found out about that and put an end to it.

CA DOJ did sent out a notice to everyone who may have purchased one of those and ask them to voluntary return 21SF that's not on the roster back to Glock to switch to a standard frame model. I doubt those people who bought one while it's available will give it up that easily. Unlike Walther P22, 21SF ambi-release + Picatinny rail model does not have any AW feature so DOJ can't force them to switch out to CA rostered model.
