      Frankly I wouldn't mess with that gun. Let it be as it is. It's a special gun for a specific purpose. You don't need that gun to do what you want to do.Destroying it would disrupt the Force, or Karma, or offend the god of war, etc.

      For less money you can buy a Caspian receiver and build up the gun you want from that base. They have exactly what you want.



      For possibly less than the price of the 38 Spl. wadcutter you can get what you want and not offend the minor gods of bullseye.

        Anything can be done, undone or redone. The question is how much money are you willing to spend to get it done. To me it seems $1900 is a pretty expensive base gun to convert to super, given that your going to have to replace the slide and barrel and maybe have to modify the frame at the feed ramp. It would be cheaper to buy a new SA 9mm and convert it to super. $900 base gun plus a barrel.

        A 38 wadcutter gun is much more super than a super, provided its a reliable gun. If it's a Chow or a Clark, could be a Gem. Research them, I think they both marked their conversions.
