Yet another 80% AR pistol registration question....

I cant keep these insane new laws straight in my mind, especially when a gun dealer clouds the facts with inaccurate info.
So, if i built a few 80% ar pistols when it was legal to do so and i installed ARmaglocks on them, i know i need to have them serialized according to doj standards and registered before the end of the year? Is that correct?
    thanks

If you added armaglocks they are not assault weapons and do not need to be registered.

As for the serial number, you have until January 1st 2019. However, if you do not use your own self-assigned serial number following BATFE guidelines by June 30, 2018, you'll need to request a serial number from the CA DOJ.

thank you, i appreciate you clearing that up. Even a shop that mfg's firearms is way way off on the laws. They said they would have had to be registered last year and I'm chit out of luck, i knew it was BS.
