    Agency Arms triggers

Just wanted to share my experience with Agency Arms triggers.

A few months ago I bought a drop-in kit for my 3rd Gen G17. It felt great, not 1911 great, but the best striker fire trigger I had tried to date.

Last month, I decided to pick up 3 4th Gen Glocks and purchased 3 drop in trigger kits. All 3 4th gens felt gritty, stiff and different. (Turns out that a common problem with 4th Gen Glocks is that the flashing rubs against the trigger shoe)

Made an appointment and stopped by their shop today. Couldn't have been a friendlier visit. Ended up having their gunsmith hand fit and tune all four of the Glocks.

Now all have amazingly smooth and similar trigger pulls.

Best $50 per gun I've ever spent.

If you're local and not blown away with your Agency Arms trigger, I highly suggest opting for their hand fitting service.

I've only heard great things about the guys and their shop. I've had one paired with a ghost inc avenger connector for the past year in my 30sf. Completely transformed that pistol that used to tear up my finger pad with the stock serrated trigger.

I have their trigger in my 3rd gen 17. Comes with a connector too.. Really nice upgrade. Love the flat faced trigger shoe.

Does it actually require a gunsmith to hand fit a "drop in" Glock trigger?...

According to Agency: Sometimes and sometimes not.

There is plastic flashing on the Gen 4 that sometimes needs to be trimmed for clearance of the trigger shoe.

Also, they polish the contact points and change out a plunger spring and polish contact points on the slide.

Believe me, it made a world of difference. Even my Gen 3 G17 which I thought felt great was improved after the 'hand fitting'

9 times out of 10, absolutely not. Like Salient, Zev, and other manufacturers, Agency mounts their trigger shoe on an OEM trigger bar, which takes about 2-3 minutes. Creating artificial wear by polishing the bearing surfaces hardly qualifies as hand-fitment, nor does removing flash from the trigger inlet on the frame, which I've never personally seen, or had a problem with. Unless their trigger shoes are grossly oversized, more often than not, there is always going to be a generous amount of clearance on both sides of the trigger shoe.

0 of 4 felt the same prior to hand fitting.

2 of 4 needed the flashing trimmed.

4 of 4 needed contacts polished.

4 of 4 now feel the same and are heads and shoulders above a stock trigger.

Of course there are always the guys who have had different experiences and the guys who love factory Glock triggers.

Yeah LOL. For a $200 Glock trigger I'm sure the service is good

                          Different strokes I guess.

I'd rather have 1 Glock with extended slide release, TFX sights and an Agency Arms trigger over 2 bone stock Glocks.

Inflation much? I said that an extra $10 isn't offensive to me for a PPT.

PS it felt good dropping a $5 in the tip jar at Angeles Shooting Range yesterday. I know, the thought offends you.
