    Found something very cool

I had pretty much had it with all the NRA fanboying and generally paranoid tone of online gun forums. I bounced around a bit, found Calguns, got tired of the NRA fanboying and generally paranoid tone...

There's an awesome forum call The Liberal Gun Club Forum, and if you're tired of the NRA fanboying and generally paranoid tone of the typical gun forum, you should check it out!

I am not a representative of the Liberal Gun Club Forum and my actions here are not endorsed by or approved of by them.

My honest opinion, now is not the time to be even remotely divided, especially here in CA. I don't care if you're Christian, Atheist, LGBT, whatever. We have two major organizations fighting the bad bills NRA/CRPA and CGF. The only time I think I have seen the NRA mentioned is that people should donate to protect their rights, which is true. All the e-mails and stuff they send me, I just mark as spam. Beyond that, this forum just talks about what pistols or rifles people want or have gotten. Maybe you should avoid the survivalist or political discussion forums...

"The Liberal Gun Club" is an oxymoron. If their elected officials had their way there would be no guns in CA.
CalGuns.net is not the friendliest place for an anti-2a, anti-gun, liberal.

Also, that website (liberal Gun Club) is filled with over-sensitive babies.

Precisely. If you enjoy gun rights, and you vote liberal, then you're either completely unaware that attacking the 2a is at the top of the liberal agenda, or you enjoy guns a little but not enough to want to keep the right to have them.

You can be "socially liberal, fiscally conservative", or a libertarian, or some other such thing, but you really can't be a true liberal gun owner without being a complete hypocrite.

For what it's worth, I'm not a true conservative. I really don't care either way when it comes to pot and gay rights and whatnot, I'm pro-choice, but I vote conservative EVERY TIME because the liberal stances on immigration, the 2a, trying to make other countries happy, trying to be more like other countries, welfare programs, and uncontrollable spending are absolutely asinine and are provably destroying this country.

California is, somehow, BOTH the most expensive state in the country to live in, AND the worst state in the country to live in, with the highest taxes and the worst infrastructure, the least freedom, and we're like 70% liberal - that's not a coincidence.

Sadly, being liberal is the "trendy" thing to do right now in CA, so it is what it is, until all the people who are only capable of thinking like their friends get distracted and move on to the next shiny object.

Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

I wouldn't join a liberal gun forum because I'm not a liberal (that's what the forum is for, liberals who own guns).

And poking all for 2 mins I found a few threads complaining about calguns members being too right wing and noticed posts complaining about republicans lol..

Um ya no thanks. Looks like a bunch of whiny snowflakes over there.

To be fair, after the vote on internet privacy today, there is a lot of reason to hate the Republicans.

Why would "The Liberal Gun Club Forum" not support the NRA?

The NRA has never sworn allegiance to any party, profile, gender or gender identity, creed (or lack thereof), sexual preference or proclivities (so long as it's legal) nor economic class, culture, social status, occupation, or the kind of car you drive.

So I think you and the "The Liberal Gun Club Forum" are quite confused and trying to create a division, have opposition against the NRA's goals, which by itself states the bent is Anti-2nd Amendment.

                            Why?

Because separate from my above citation, the NRA is the ONLY organization of note that is 100% protectionist of the 2nd Amendment. Your 2nd Amendment, mine, hers, his, theirs, ours, and the one for the People and by the People - government need not apply.

So your derision is wholly misguided, and self-injurious. There is no "conservative " credo about the NRA. If Hillary Clinton has been as unabashed supportive of the NRA as Donald Trump, or Ronald Reagan, NRA Lifetime Member John F. Kennedy, the greatest Democrat to have walked the earth since... ever - they would have backed her for President, should someone like a milquetoast or pseudo Republican like Bloomberg, or even Romney for that matter, had been one of the final draw.

In fact, the NRA's very first first lobbying pursuit was to petition the New York State legislature for $25,000 to purchase land for a shooting range. They worked closely with DEMOCRAT Governor John T. Hoffman to make that happen, and inside of 3 months, the proposed legislation passed and was signed into law by the same.

The NRA is America's longest existing civil rights organization, founded in 1871.

It's about civil rights - the end. Are you against that? I don't care about a liberal's choices or beliefs, if there is a certain blueprint for that - just keep your damned hands off the 2nd Amendment, my rights, and my right to be not you.

I don't infringe on you with my 2nd Amendment Rights in the slightest, but by not supporting the NRA, the only viable organization stopping tyranny from advancing infringement on my 2nd Amendment rights - it's YOU that are laying the red carpet to welcome infringement of my 2nd Amendment rights. Our rights, a common bond against tyranny, the actual purpose of the 2nd Amendment; not hunting, not collecting, not 3-gun competitions or target shooting, not even defense against criminals that would do us harm.

Don't be so quick to give up your 2nd Amendment rights. Don't think that it's "trending" or "fashionable" because a media pundit is telling you it is, no different than all the consumerism sold to you through billboards, amplified commercials, pop-ups, and the like telling you who you should be, what you should buy, what you should believe, all to fit in or be cool.

Don't try to vilify the NRA merely because the majority of its members happen to be Republican or conservative. I'm still puzzled as to why any American political party or politician would EVER think of aligning themselves with 2nd Amendment infringements, Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Green Party, the Populist Party, or otherwise.

Don't try to make it "about us vs. them" because then it's really only about "you vs. the 2nd Amendment" as you try to classify, draw lines, separate, and then in finale, create 2nd Amendment restrictions.

And join the NRA. CRPA too while you're at it.
