Need help! Need a new front sight for XDm

So I got a custom slide made for my XDm because I didn't want to cut into the original slide. The front sight cut is larger in the custom slide compared to the factory slide. The maker of the slide suggested I use red Loctite. He will get a over sized front sight to me in a few weeks but I'm trying to shoot this new gun. Are there any sights that can be shaved down that I can use? Also any RMR plates I can use? I have a cut for that.

Why not just shoot the gun with your factory slide until the new slide has the rmr on it?

I already moved the internals over and getting that dang extractor out is a PITA. Plus it just looks to dang cool! I just ordered PRP plate for my RMR. That should be here no later then Monday and then Ill just shoot with the optic till I get a sight.

It looks better in person and they really hooked me up. I just need to get a front sight now.

What is the intent of your XDm? Will it be for target shooting or concealed carry?

For concealed carry guns, large sights might become a detriment.
