Cz PCR trigger

I just bought the PCR but the trigger is a non checkered black trigger instead of the stainless steel. Trigger is much nicer than my P01 so I think it's not the same. Is there any specific reason they switch to the black trigger?

I was impressed with my friends new stock PCR trigger too. Compared to my P01 with a polished trigger and lightened hammer spring, the PCR was smoother and no stacking. I think that is what you call it as you pull slowly back on the trigger in double action and you feel it is smooth then gets a little sticky instead of smooth all the way till the hammer drops.

I just got my PCR in January with a December 2016 production date and also has the black recurved trigger. Seems very nice.

I was under the impression that PCR has stainless steel trigger and barrel, do you guys have any idea about the change?

I bought my PCR In June 2016. The shop that I got it from received 3 that day. 2 had the stainless trigger and 1 had the black trigger that was similar to the P01 next to it. I felt the trigger in all of them and bought the one with the black trigger since it had the smoothest take-up. Its a great stock trigger.

I picked up a newly shipped P01 last month, and my PCR trigger feels better than the P01. Its grittier in take-up with a more rolling break.

I offer that data points as it may not be the stainless vs other question, rather the overall machining and assembly quality changing over time.

From what I hear from shops, CZ has a big backlog. Not sure if that means they are just having to make more and quicker so end up allowing a wider tolerance to meet demand or just a supplier is cutting corners on parts finish to put more bits in the supply line.

I just looked, my pcr has a silver trigger!!!

CZ either changed it or they ran out of serrated triggers. The serrated triggers never seamed real popular but then the black recurve seams to to be the most common profile for trigger bite as far as i have seen. I actually like the serrated trigger in my PCR, i do not mind the serrations and i prefer the profile.
