    M&P shield 9mm

    Hi,
I wanted to get some feedback from anyone who carries an M&P 9mm. The weekly ad from our local Cabelas has it on sale and I'm thinking about getting it to replace my P-11 as a CCW gun. Does the shield function like a glock where you need to rack the slide back to enable the trigger or is it a traditional double action where each trigger pull will cock and releas the striker.
    Thanks.

Functions like a Glock. It's a striker fired weapon.

For a gun that is thinner than my usual CCW, I was surprised at how well it handled and shot.

It is now on my CCW!

No, its not a traditional double action. You need to rack the slide to cock the striker.

Shields are Very popular, for very good reasons...

A no risk option, if you have enough Glocks...

All of my friends and relatives who own them, love them.

I shot one. It's really nice.

I actually shot one for the first time while shooting my g43 for the first time. Made me wish I got the m&p instead. I liked it a lot

Easy problem to solve, sell the G43 for a profit and buy a 9mm Shield...

                Awesome gun.
                I carry one every day.
It's accurate enough to pass the NRA Defensive Handgun course.
I've not had a single malfunction, had it for about 2 years now.

MP Shield, they're as thin as Vin Diesel's hairline
Yet as reliable as Nikki Minaj's hips !!👍

                  They are GTG.

It's amazingly accurate for a mouse gun. S&W created a real winner, no wonder it's #1 is gun sales.

Picked one up last week. No complaints so far with it shooting great. I removed the mag disconnect though, pet peeve with me.
