    Sig P320 issues?

Seriously considering P320 over the G19. However, seems like online videos seem to capture misfires. Any owners have issues they would like to report or any feedback not reported so far? Thanks.

Neither of my P320's have hiccuped through the first 700rds. Both the P320 and G19 are great pistols made by great manufactures, pick whichever you like better, test yours to make sure it works as it should, and be happy.

My 320 has been flawless. Were those videos torture test videos?
Or were they using ammo with hard primers ?

i had an issue with an xchange kit with FTE. it was a bad ejector spring, and sig fixed the issue. i sold that P320 but missed it so I bought a full size 320 and bought an compact xchange and both have shoot great. I am liking the full size more and more, and the compact is a great alternative for the G19. i would recommend the 320 every time.

I had to send my P320 back to Sig to fix an extractor issue. Otherwise it's a great gun. Will never sell it...

There are hiccups. Not bad but I have seen a few.

                1. Takedown lever wont fully actuate and feels like it's binding when you try to flip it.

This is caused by interference with the guide rod. Check if it is canted when you lock the slide back, if so simply push it toward a straight position parallel with the slide. You may hear a click, if it aligns then you should be able to actuate the takedown lever properly.

                2. FTF after reassembling.

This is a problem I encountered after reassembly. Most Sig P-series pistol slides can be installed by pushing them back to the correct position and simply flipping the takedown lever (without using the slide lock). It's quick and eliminates a step.
The P320 will misalign (the Takedown Safety Lever I think it's called) if you do this. The way to avoid this is to always reassemble the slide to the frame using the slide lock. That allows clearance internally for these parts to not hang up.

I bought a P320 Full Size in .40 back during the SSE madness of 2014. Since then I've picked up a Compact 9mm conversion kit and a Subcompact 9mm conversion kit and I'm very happy overall. I've encountered no FTF or FTE with any of the three variations. Accuracy is remarkable, the trigger is above average if not downright excellent, ergonomics are superb except for the Subcompact (just not right for my hands) and reliability is unquestioned. I'd trust this handgun with my safety and the safety of my family.

Only issue with 320 was initially choking on first round when all 17 rounds were loaded in mag. Once springs loosened up a bit, fill it to the rim.

I have had some self induced issues with feel since trying to go full length guide rod, 15# 1911 spring and Apex trigger. Picked up a different recoil spring but have not taken back to range to see if it makes a difference.

Be careful condemning a pistol when it is done with a sample of one. If that was true...

                        All Glocks would blow up.
                        All Kimbers rust.
                        All Sigs are inaccurate.
                        All Rugers are crummy.
All H&Ks hate us (although I have only had excellent service with I have contacted them).

I think (well I hope) you get my point....

No condemnation here. Both are winners, just want to know if one has edged out the other, based on owner experiences. Thanks all.

If I had to pick between the two, I would lean to a he 320. It is a great gun but once you get the 320 then Get the G19. I have both and love them both.
