Raven screwed us by eliminating the custom builds. That's the reason I sought out a new holster maker in the first place, and I'm glad I found JM Custom Kydex.

I too go with 10 degree cant and a mid guard, but I do high ride. I ordered 2 last night... one for my PPS, and one for my G21SF with SureFire X300 Ultra and DG pressure switch mounted.

I searched half a dozen gun forums for OWB kydex options before ordering anything. Not one person had a complaint about JM Custom Kydex.

Gun rides tight, draw is screw-adjustable, retention is superior to non-adjustable Raven holsters. I prefer Raven's pancake wings ever so slightly (easier to thread a belt through them), but again, Raven lost my business when they couldn't figure out how to keep up with demand for their custom orders.

Didn't realize they weren't doing custom anymore. It's funny, they still have links up on their website that go nowhere. No explanation. Guess they're busy.

Gotta add a vote for safariland. Great holster for range, training, field and (so I'm told) service/duty. Got one for each of my full size pistols - qls system allows me to quickly switch between carry platforms and firearms.

That said, I have a cheap but effective fobus paddle for every gun I own - great for multi gun days at the range.

In the end, I really prefer quality leather.

Since fall of last year, IIRC. Maybe earlier. Bastards. They said "catching up on orders, will re open custom orders soon". I emailed them, they told me it'd take a month or two.

            That was 6 months ago.
