    new side arm??

I need some advice. Ill be buying a new sidearm soon. Ive had a Glock 22 for 13 years. Have no problems. However, since selling it to my dad, Ive been looking for a new one. Im looking at 3 guns. The Glock, a Sig Saur P229 or Springfield XD40.
    Ive owned a Glock(three actually)
I trained with a Sig in the Academy and never fired a XD.
    Whats the favorite here?
Im leaning in this order, Sig, XD, then Glock.
    Thanx

    Favorite brand= Favorite color.
IMO, fire each one then decide which YOU like best.

I love shooting Sigs but it's all about personal preference.

I used the P226 in 40 at the academy not the p229.
as far as the difference between the two, im not sure.

If you end up getting the Sig, don't forget to get the Hogue rubber grip with finger grooves. 226 and 229 difference is size and caliber.

JUst bought a P226 tem minutes ago. Slightly used and came with both >40 and 357 Sig barrles. Paid lot more than I was hopeing to spend(i was thinking of the glock or XD) but still happy none the less.

Sig 229 in .40. You may also want to consider the HK usp/p2000.

Personally, I like the Sig. I have a 226 and 229, both in .40S&W. Great shooters.

My Glock cost half as much though, and is a lot lighter making it slightly more comfortable for all-day carry.
