Glock 21 sights

Im thinking of upgrading the sights on my G21. I wanted to see what other are using and what recommendations you may have.

I like many different sights and install different manufactures on my handguns.

Just my opinion and I'll tell you my eyes are bad....

I did install some speed sights on my G21. For my eyes I can pick up
The sight picture a bit faster. Yeah, they are gimmicky but they work for me.

Have the trigicon HDs for my 30sf with a front orange sight. Its a HD and carry gun. I might experiment with fiber optics on the next glock or go without sights and try this new dueck defense rear mount that has iron sights on ig along with a red dot Mount.

I installed the Glock OEM night sights.

My 21 has the stock plastic sights, but I have a LW Long Slide that has the williams fire sights. For target shooting they are a good value, but I would not count on them to be combat durable. Both the front and read are made from Aluminum. They also require some fitting.

I'm using XS Sight Systems lollipop sights. They aren't great for target/distance shooting but, they are really fast.

I have Truglo TFX sights on all of my Glocks. Love them.

I like XS standard dot sights on all my guns, but as you can see, everyone has a different preference. The only one that counts is what you decide you like for yourself.

The reason I like XS standard dot sights is because they are easy to install, it's fast to acquire a target when you dot the "I", the standard dot sights are bright but don't block your view like the big dots with the big white outline.

I used to like Meprolights because they are good quality for a good price. I prefer "dot the I sights" because they are quicker to line up.

Trijicons are good sights but I have always preferred Meprolights to them because Mepros are brighter and yet less expensive than Trijicons.

My all-time favorite is XS standard dots. Very good sights.

I choose my sights for fast front post acquisition (HD and Carry), provision for 1-handed racking and low light visibility.

I've tried a lot of sights (XS, Meprolights, Glock OEM Night Sights, Fiber Optics, Trijicons, Heines, Ameriglos, maybe I forgot 1 or 2), and there are a few that I liked, but my most favorite is the Trijicon HD and the Ameriglo I-Dots.

Between those two, I would probably go for Ameriglo because (1) its much like the Trijicon but cost a lot less, (2) The rear sight does not have sharp edges like the Trijicon HD and (3) The rear sight only has one dot at the bottom, which I like.
