Para Ordnance P16-40 double stack 1911 extended slide release?

Does anybody have a preferred extended slide release for full-size Para Ordnance double stack 1911s?

I've been using my left thumb with my P16-40 so I don't need to shift my grip, but would be more comfortable if my slide release was big enough I could hit it the same way I do on my other semi-automatic pistols.

I had a Para-Ord P14 .45 years ago. It was an alloy kit frame put together with parts from many sources. It had an extended slide stop, which I like. I have an extended slide stop on my 1911 stainless clone. I always used the slide-stop to release the slide into battery.

These days, many folks disdain that and like to "slingshot" the slide into battery. Evidently they are into extra body motions to achieve the same end, or they don't trust the slide stop.

Here is my nasty stainless clone with an extended slide stop.

The slide stop works very well as a slide release, just as Mr. Browning designed it.

    I am done here.

I can slingshot but I prefer to utilize the slide stop during reloads, but I usually use my support hand left thumb to release the slide.

I have an extended slide stop on my IAI Javelina as it came with one from the factory. Been wanting to grind it down as it creates more problems.

As a lefty my preference is to slingshot as I can use the same motion on all my semis (Glock, 1911,etc) as not all manufacturers have ambi slide stops, and if the slide stop is only on one side it varies in length and location across manufacturers.
