I really like using a piece of bicycle inner tubing. Its very thin, tacky enough for a secure grip, and its cheap.

For my competition guns (USPSA and 3-Gun) I use Dawson Precision grip tape. It works much better than the Talon grip in my experience.

Work out until you have visible abs.

I've found people who have visible abs don't have grip problems.

Buy the grip inserts for the C.O.R.E., problem solved.

Dude, stop trolling everyone's threads that aren't block related already.

We're friends and all, but your pointless, ignorant block rants are really unnecessary and annoying.

BTW - for people considering skate board tape, go to Home Depot and buy a sheet of stair tread anti-slip. It 100% the same thing, much cheaper.

I have the Talon Rubberized on all my guns including carry guns and have not had any issues with them coming off even when getting sweaty.

The key to getting them to really adhere in my opinion is getting the grip very clean with denatured alcohol and a rag and then dried thoroughly, the little swab they supply simply is not enough.

Then what I do after applying the Talon is fire up the stove burner and warm the grip with fire then grab and squeeze to get the tape to get into every knock and cranny.

+1 on super degreased grips before applying Talon grips. The grips don't stick well to itself so where the grip overlaps I apply just a small amount of super glue to the leading edge and have not had the grips peel. Love the fit of Talon grips. Glad to see them back in business.

I don't use talons but other rubberized/skate board tape. After cleaning the pistol thoroughly with alcohol wipes and letting it dry. I apply the rubberized/skateboard tape and then I go over the seams with a lighter to lightly heat it up and then firmly press in. After the seams then the rest of the gun. Haven't had any pealing through 1500+ rounds and moderate abuse from outdoor use.

** if you use the rubberized one, don't heat up too much. You'll end up melting it then it'll just be smooth. If you use skateboard tape, be careful of hearing it up to long, you'll burn yourself trying to press it on.

After applying, I used a hair dryer for a few minutes over my Talon Grip. I haven't had any problems.

I have rubber talons on my M&Ps and I love them. Ive Never had a problem peeling. Perhaps try again and clean the grip well with alcohol... And use hair dryer to adhere. If you want a tougher texture, try the granulate or the skate grip. I bought a sheet for $3 that was designed for two skateboards worth. It's clear and doesn't peel. Best of luck. You could pick up an m&p 2.0 when they pop up. They have the stipple factory. I've heard people say they suck to CCW though as it rubs since it's so rough.
