I know I can find this this out with a call to the company but as they're closed today and I don't know if they're there on the weekend, I figured I'd ask you guys.
I walked into one of my shops today to start my DROS on an FN 5.7. Looked around and staring back at me from one of the cases was a TRP Operator, a gun I've been reading up on but haven't seen in person yet.
Made the mistake of taking it out and decided I needed it in my life.
Unfortunately while going over it, I noticed a chip taken out of the back of the slide. It's very minor and I'm admittedly overly particular but when spending $1600 on something I'd like it to be perfect. I know I'll ding it up but still...
The gentleman behind the counter told me if I bought it and sent it to SA they'd likely send it back to me with a new slide.
Does this seem like something they'd do?
The chip wouldn't affect the functionality at all, just bug me like crazy.
I know these guns are gettable with a bit of patience but thinking this might be a faster alternative than waiting on another to pop up.
For those of you with experience dealing with SA, I'd love to know if this seems like something they'd bother addressing.
Thank for your input, it's appreciated.
