Glock 30, Gen 3, Input Please

Came across an early Gen 3 (according to seller) Glock 30, double stack, accepts Glock 21 mags, no rail, very little use, for around $350. Looking for input from anyone who has shot one, likes, dislikes, etc. I shoot 21s, 22s, 23s, 27s, and enjoy all. Any input appreciated.

Even if it were $100 more, it is a good deal.

That's a good deal. The G30 is an excellent carry gun. You can't argue with 10+1 rounds of .45 acp. There's also a 9-round magazine that makes it even more concealable. The only downside is there's no rail but the low price makes it worth it.

No need to wonder or think twice, I say buy it now. I have the glock 30sf bought a few years back and it's easy to shoot and accurate and packs a punch of 45acp with a 10 rounds capacity for its size. You will not regret it especially for the model you have your eyes into. Get it NOW...

              Jump on it!
I've had a G-30 for almost 20 years now and IMO it's a great handgun. One of my favorites
The only things I've replaced on it were some springs, done by an armorer at a GSSF match and the tritium sights which finally died.
Its really a handy compact .45 and thats a pretty good price for one in the condition you describe.
I'd buy it as a backup if it were available to me.
              Good luck

I bought one for $300 (no rail - average condition) and felt it was a steal.

It is my only Glock (Not a fan of Volvos), but it certainly performs 100% as do all Volvos ... Er, I mean Glocks ...

They work well, clunky as all hell, and lots of fan groups. I bet you can find a combo Brony-Glock fanclub if you look for one.

Love my 30sf. Though I quickly swapped out the trigger for an agency arms and a ghost inc avenger connector after my finger was red and bleeding from a sharp serated trigger shoe that it shipped with.

                        Here comes the poo poo..........

I looked at, and shot a G30 a LOT, and considered it for a carry gun. I love the reliability, but there 2 things that turned me off, It's blocky and thick for carry.
And the magazine pinched the snot out of my hand the way I gripped it. I left the range bloody. I have read that an o ring around the magazine will actually help eliminate this. I also had the same problem with a 36.

Those were MY beefs with the 30 FOR ME. I guarantee that in a SHTF situation I would absolutely have no concerns about grabbing one and trusting my life to it though.

For that price I say buy it. If you hate it sell it...........

I wouldn't buy it if I were you. The 36 is a much better option. I know, I own one.
Just send me a PM with the selling information so I can relieve the stress you must be experiencing..

They made gen3 g30's without rails?
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

I feel the opposite. I have a G36 and it's probably the least useful pistol I own, I've thought about selling it dozens of times but I always end up hanging on to it for some reason. I wish I'd bought a 30 instead. I have a g29 (same size as a 30) and I use it 100x more than my g36. The problem with the 36 is that it really isn't much smaller than the 30, but it holds WAY less rounds (7 versus 11)

Of course, that's just my opinion.
