The biggest take away from that video is you have to be willing to be uncomfortable when training. Some times training is going to hurt.
If you want change you have to put in your 2 cents, you can't just sit on the sidelines and whine.

        Good video. NSFWeenies...

I agree it is important to do a one handed reload/clearing drill and get used to it.
My one cheat is to use skate tape on top of the slides of my LTC pistols.

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

another trick i was taught in the marines was hold the top of the slide and use the back of your knee to hold the frame.

Never seen anyone say it can't be done. They just make it easier. Like using a bottle opener instead of your teeth.

Sincerely, this is good to know if one might have the luxury of a wee bit more time.

Blowing (see what I did, there?) your gun's slide off the top of your thigh as Bill B shows us seems quite a bit quicker to do.

Thanks again C.O. for another great tutorial. Bill B knows his shizznit.

It's always good to know more than 1 way to run a 1 handed reload/clearing drill. Same for long guns too.
Dude's video explained a fast one.
No need to be high speed low drag about it.
Just get it down and practice it.

Sent using 2 cans and a long string.
