Pearce frame plug for Glock 20

Bought a frame plug for my Glock 20 and no matter what I do, it blows out after just a few shots. Tried some glue but no dice.

Anyone use this in your Glock 20 or 21 and have you been able to make it stay in place? My Glock 17 has one and have had no problems.

Wonder if the G20 recoil is just too much for the frame plug. [emoji848]

That one plug must be undersized. I am not sure what brand I have, but a grip plug fits very snugly and once that little plastic pimple/detent clicks into the hole on the back of the grip, i cal not see how it would drop out?
    Pics would help.

Never heard of that happening, does it seem snug when you install it?

Pearce frame plug for Glock 20

I must have an undersized one. I'm going to try one just made for the 20sf/21sf model. I think I may have gotten one that is advertised to fit in all mid and large sized glock frames. It may just be too small. It slides in very easily, too easily. Thanks for the responses.

Aha, I see the problem now. The plug I have is missing that nipple on the backside that should click into place. It is supposedly a Pearce plug but either I got a defective one or it's a knockoff.

Or don't put one in there like Glock intended. Filling the plug doesn't allow to rip and strip the mag during a malfunction like intended

Hmmm, food for thought. Always wondered why they left that gap there

The gap is supposed to let debris, like pocket lint, and water drain out. It confuses me when folks plug it, and the glock armorers course instructors freak out about it.
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.
