Will that be legal come June 1st? I don't quite understand the law.

#1 it is against the law to purchase, import or manufacture magazines greater than 10 rounds since 2000 if I recall correctly.
#2 parts kits are now illegal as well.
#3 magazines over 10 rounds aren't illegal until July 1st, not June.

The new law just bans mags over 10 rounds even if they were grandfathered in. L.A. has already done this the rest of the state is just playing catch up. I'm not aware of anything that says you can't block standard capacity mags to make them 10 rounds.

I just recently purchased Glock 17 10rds mags for my G34 Gen4 at CDNN Sports.
Gen 4 mags should work in Gen 3 Glocks too.
