CZ 9mm owners - Any of you use 147gr ammo?

Curious to see how many of ya'll use 147gr ammo, at the range or for SD. I've heard about CZ having issues with 147gr in the past, but I haven't had any issues in my P-07 duty using Federal HST 147 standard pressure. I like the recoil impulse of the heavier bullet much better but I'm curious to see if others have had success with this style of ammo as well.

Can't help you here. I use the Federal HST 124 grain standard pressure in my CZs. Actually, in all of my 9mms. Works just fine.

i make my own, but for the past 3 years all i've shot out of mine has been 147gr bullets.

but on the same subject, i did start reaming all my barrels a few years ago as i found with certain projectile profiles i was loading much shorter than i wanted.

i do not carry a cz as my SD/ccw gun.

I primarily shoot 147 gr reloads from Freedom without a hiccup through my sp01 and p01.

Thats all i shoot out of my sp01. Works fine, 147 falcon falcoat bullets no noticeable change in poi from the 115s that i have shot. Most underrated pistols on earth

I used to own a CZ-75, made in 03. It ran Winchester ranger 147's fine.

Thanks everyone for the input. Good to know any issue with 147s in CZs is the exception to the rule and not the norm.

I placed an order of 1000 last week

Normally they would arrived today but UPS apparently delayed for tomorrow

Gonna shoot them next week

The 147 grain Federal American Eagle Flat point jams in my gun, though.

That's interesting. Have you tried Speer Lawman 147 by any chance?

I had problems with my own 147gr hollow point hand loads in my CZ SP-01. I loaded them to 1.170" to fit my other 9mm pistols, but when I tried them in my SP-01 they wouldn't fit.
