Hahahha my FIRST 1911.

I got the Springfield 1911-A1 Mil Spec. Swapped out the original grips. It looks awesome! I really like the original look to it.

I really wanted the stainless steel as well so maybe that'll be my next 1911.

I haven't shot it though, my ammo comes on Monday.

But I have always loved 1911s. It's a work of art! I can't imagine how solid the more expensive ones must feel.

I already gave myself the "idiot scratch". It hurt, but I bought it to use it so there will be plenty more scratches lol.

The idiot scratch is a tuff one to get over. I have been diligent so far to avoid it myself. However, I did buy a used 1911 that had the idiot scratch on it already.

Be careful releasing the recoil spring up front. I almost shot myself in the head with one years ago. As it whizzed by my head at the speed of sound I was thinking, what the heck was that? Then I was like, oh yeah, the recoil spring.....
