150 to 200% mark up because of supply and demand in most cases.

Less money for well used guns.

The more popular a pistol the higher and firmer the price will be.

Some off roster models trade just slightly above the retail price, but this is because they are more common or in lesser demand.

For the gun listed, I would imagine $625 to $900.

I'll give you $525 for it. Do you have extra mags?

$750 and up. Don't see many XD Mod 2 Subcompact 45 FDE for sale here. Seller could probably get $800+ in the right market (SoCal/SF Bay)

From what I observed ( I am exempt ) is that sometimes people are willing to pay premium just because gun is off roster. In my case , my 3 most recent purchases were ON ROSTER handguns because I wanted them. HK p2000 9mm , basic CZ75 and Les Baer Premiere II 45. I think people are willing to pay more for guns that are harder to get. Just my opinion. As a collector I can relate to it. Sometimes I pay a lot for gun that is tough to get regardless of roster .

So eventually, the roster is going to get tossed by some court, because essentially the microstamping cannot be complied with. It's going to happen, it's just a matter of when and what court (obviously not the 9th circuit). One year, three years? Who knows but when it happens the guys that are drastically overpaying for these guns are going to be bumming. Frankly are any of the guns with marginally enhanced features worth it? The difference between a Glock Gen 3 and Gen 4 isn't worth another 50% to me. Getting in line to buy something or overpaying usually ends up being a bad financial decision.

......... or 100 years (after we're long gone)........ Who really knows? That's why the prices are based on knowing what we know today.

double the price plus or minus 150 depending on demand and model.

Just a guess, but I would expect to see those used for about $800. Not saying I would EVER consider paying $800 for that, but it's what I would expect to see people trying to get for one.

Assuming it was a pistol I actually wanted, I wouldn't consider paying anything more than $600 for it.

Also 250 rounds fired usually means the seller looked at the condition of the slide rails and took a wild guess at how many rounds he could get away with claiming he shot with it.

Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

I'm the minority by tracking rounds in all my guns for maintenance. First thing I do when done shooting is log round count in my cell.
A quick trip to a Nevada gun store will blow your mind with what's behind the glass and prices. Off roster heaven.

I quit going to gun stores when I'm in NV or AZ because it makes me mad and sad.
