Thank you, sw686ssr. Someday I hope to follow your path.

Stuart got back to me. He says CZC can do a grip reduction on the SP-01 but he wisely also recommends that my wife tries using her support hand to operate the slide lock like what others have said above. It would've cost $375 for the job, so it isn't for the faint hearted or those with thin wallets.

So I pray one day I'd have courage to take a stock SP-01 and do my own grip reduction like sw686ssr did. As for the CZC Shadow, it will stay the way it is.

Have you thought about getting her a Phantom? I have the regular SP-01 and the SP-01 Phantom. The grip diameter on the Phantom is smaller (which is one of the reasons I may be getting rid of mine - big hands).

Thanks, that is not something I had considered. I read Phantoms are coming back, or I may have missed the recent wave...

Could the Phantom have as much refinements done as in the Shadow? Comp hammer, FPB elimination, short reset trigger, Accu-bushing or X10 bushing and wide safeties are what I'm thinking for her.
