    Legion series and their finish

I'm curious to know. I know some Legion series handguns have had finish issues ( premature wear etc). If I purchase one through ppt and it has issues, will Sig fix it and will they send back to me in CA? It is an off roster gun.

Once you own said firearm, you should be ok in regards to warranty work with the exception of replacing said frame.

      From Sig website
SIG SAUER warrants that the enclosed firearm was originally manufactured free of defects in material, workmanship and mechanical function. For the lifetime of the original purchaser,...

Why not if it's purchased legally? Just think of people who own Sigs that bought models before they were off roster. They can definitely send them back for warranty repair or for specific service/repair.

sig will take care of you off roster or not.

Just shoot the gun as its inteded to be. After you shoot it a lot, youll appreciate all the marks on your gun which shows you know how to operate the gun.

I heard of the legion wear issues, but my legion has over 1k rounds and the only wear i see is where my surefire is attached on the rail, but even with that, its barely noticeable.

              jus shoot and have fun!

I had some premature wear on my 229 legion but not my 226 legion and I've been shooting them the same amount / brands of ammo. Never holstered

I appreciate your response Peter. I just get nervous before making a large purchase. I wanted to be sure Sig has my back if I need them. Thanks again!
