    Jailed a LCR

in .357. I know it's a little heavier than the .38, but it's only 3.6 oz's, and I wanted the ability to use .357 if I so desire, which I mostly won't. I plan on getting the boot grips from Ruger, but other than that just shoot it. Likes, dislikes, tips?

I really like the LCR system. The extra weight is not noticeable when carrying but it probably helps when shooting. I think there is a longer Hogue grip for them, I do okay with just the boot but getting your pinky on there sure helps. I'm trying to convince myself I need one in 9mm or .327... or .22 WMR... or something.

That survey Ruger sent out leads me to believe there may be a larger framed LCR in the near future, which would be great if they mirrored th GP line with a 6 shot .38/.357 or a .44 Special!!!

Just stick with .38's when at the range, .357 can get punishing.
