    TFO sights

Looking into getting a set of TFO night sights for my ccw gun, just wondering if anyone has them and has had any problems I should be aware of? Also, all green dots? Green front yellow rear? I know it's all subjective just looking for any pros/cons... thanks!

TFO is old. TFX is their new hotness.

I like TFOs and have had 5-6. Mostly green/green, but just installed yellow/green and like different colors better.

So far I can't see why the new TFX is worth the extra $50 or so.

Dang you're killin me! Do you have some? Is the white or orange ring really worth the extra money? I would think just different colors would be similarly fast to acquire?

Pretty much how I was leaning, go yellow/green...

Ditto on the tfx, what's worth the extra 30-50%?

You like the all green? Would you do it the same way again?

the tfx pro sights have a squared off ledge to rack the slide one handed. the tfo's have a ramped edge- much smoother. i went with the tfo's- yellow rear green front.

Yes and yes. Before buying mine I tried shooting a friend's Shield with a yellow front and green back sight and felt that my sight accusation time was a bit longer due to the "busyness" of the two different colors so I went green/green. Maybe just me but I feel more collected shooting G/G.

I have the TFX Pro's on my G17 and G22. They are beyond awesome.

I can't CCW so I don't know how they handle for that. Apparently even though I've been shooting for 40+ years and being a licensed and accredited Paramedic in the state of CA, I am still not deemed responsible enough to conceal in L.A. County.

I've had TFO and TFX sights on my Glocks. I love them and would recommend the TFX's!

I have TFO on all of my current carry guns and a few on my range/out of state carry guns.

Two are the all green and the third is the yellow/green

I will likely try the TFX next gun as they have the outlined front sight.

They are fine sights and I trust them enough to be on all my carry pistols...

I've got TFOs on several carry/competition guns. Only one had an issue so far, the front sight fiber optic walked out mid stage during a match. TruGlo did replace it without issue though. The gun/sights involved had seen maybe 5-6k rounds and I was relatively careful about keeping solvents away from the fiber optic.

The plus side to the TFXs are the fact the FO are protected by the sleeves from walking out. And if you like the Trijicon style HD sights, you can have a similar effect with the TFXs and have the benefits of the FO sights. If you can swing it, why not grab the TFXs?
