great balance, weight, trigger, accuracy, ergonomics and capacity (when you're outside of CA)...
For anything other than concealed carry and bear hunting, I'd say it would be hard to find something "better".
No reason not to buy this pistol.
I'd buy two if I could.

They're awesome. Navy issued me one on deployment, I bought the commercial non Ca. one later and love it. I put in a quick reset kit, and it shoots like a dream...any ammo, never a hiccup. kinda wish it didn't have a rail, makes finding a holster a little more difficult. the little sticker fell off after some oil and shooting. I also wish I had 2 of them lol

I'd prefer it if it didn't have the LCI. But I don't really notice it when shooting.

Otherwise I love mine. Feeds anything have had zero problems with it. I agree with what the guy above said. Some people say get the SRT trigger for it. I'm personally on the fence.

They may not both be MK25 but I do have two (p226) of them.

            :-)

LCI and mag safety...could live with LCI, can't stand mag safety, would not want it. In fact, when I bought mine, I had to wait for it to come in. Ordered what I thought was the 49 state model. when it arrived, it was the Ca. model. sold it within a week, and found an off roster one.

Great gun. Mag safety is easy to get rid of. SRT definitely improves the shooting experience. I would definitely recommend this gun. You won't be disappointed.

Yeah, I hear that. on the plus side, Ca models look like they're about $2-300 less in the classified ads on CG

Love mine. Would never buy a CA version. And yeah, the sticker will come off or break up eventually. Part of my sticker went missing, the part with the 3D barcode.

Not technically a Mk25 but I do have 3 German P226s. I have had several since 1988. Its my favorite pistol, accurate as hell and has never malfunctioned.

Of all the pistols I own, the MK25 is the easiest to shoot. I love my 1911's and Glocks but if I had to go into battle, the Sig is coming with me. I would never get the CA version though.

I installed E2 grips on my MK25 and it now fits my hands much more comfortably than with the stock grips. Great gun. I enjoy shooting mine.
