Glock 34 gen 3 trigger question

Would you guys recommend a drop in trigger kit or should I just do the .25 cent trigger job and get a 3.5LB ghost connector? Im fairly new to glocks as this is my first and I am currently not a fan of the stock trigger. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Plan on using this for conpetitions.

    THANKS!

G34 have a minus connector already. Polish and grind the rough surfaces

Add a heavy return spring. It helps lighten things up.

34 best trigger out of the box for glock. Polish her up.

I dont have a tool to quantify, but I have tried the Glock Store's, ZEV's and Lone Wolf's heavy return spring and they're all good to go. I prefer the last one for cost and quality.

If you have any sort of magnifying loupe, inspect the components and polish them up. Not all polish jobs are the same. You'll wanna see the work up close and check for burrs and imperfections.

You can round the edge of the trigger bar striker release (what takes the place of a sear on a hammer fired pistol). Not a lot, just smooth the edge. YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE CHANGING DIMENSIONS OR TAKING A LOT OF METAL OFF.

Always test fire your pistol for safety after work is done.

Dry fire practice. Trigger gets lighter as it wears in. And your trigger pull improves at the same time.

Good advice right up thar ^^^

Clean up the stocker, get out and run it in those competitions. The stock trigger can take you out of Unclassifed and up to...mmm how far do you want to go?

$.02 throwing a Pyramid in it isn't going to help when you are new to the sport. Get some trigger time and shoots under your belt. Maybe see if a few diff guys will let you dry fire their G34's and see what different triggers feel like. Hope these ideas help.

                  Have fun, be safe.

The Wolff spring kit has always worked well for me

Shoot it. If you can't shoot 5-6 inches at 20 yards or less, get training and practice.

The G34 has an upgraded trigger and longer sight radius... it doesn't need anything other than the sights of your choice.

I put 200 rounds through my gen 4 just a couple of hours ago... stock other than Wilson/Vickers sights.
