Uberti Cattleman based guns and 22lr conversion

Hello all,
I doing some research into single action revos and am understanding that the Uberti Cattleman frame is pretty much a standard. Can anyone tell me if the Taylor Smoke Wagons or the Beretta Stampedes are also Cattleman based?

I'm wondering because Uberti has a 22lr conversion that says it's for Cattleman framed guns and I think it would be awesome if that kit could work for a plethora of other guns that I want. Thanks guys!

Yes. Taylor's are Uberti. Uberti is Beretta.

Doesn't work for 5.5" barrels. Seems like a mess to me.

Beretta owns Uberti, and they have a Cattleman II which is quite close to the Stampede.

Yea, 6 shot, but wouldn't the pawl need to be different if there were more chambers? I think it's great as it wouldn't change operation of the gun in it's normal configuration.

I found the kit on Taylors website but they do not mention, or at least I did not see that the Smoke Wagon is a Cattleman. The Smoke Wagon is not under the Cattleman series either. Those Smoke Wagons are really nice...oh they have a 12 shot 22lr. Anyone know if the single action exemption or some kind of rimfire single action revolver exemption exists for that? I know that tube mags are ok for 10+...may just be some wishful thinking here haaha.

What would be even awesomer is if there's a setup like this for a Vaquero.

I always assumed they were separate because some shops will have Beretta and not Benelli. How does that have anything to do with the price of hay?

Well, I have gone to a couple shops looking for a Uberti. These shops had Beretta hand guns, shotguns and one of them even had Beretta lever actions.

All of these gun shops said that they don't carry Uberti nor could they order Uberti or Benenlli or Stogger all because Benelli is the parent company and requires a significant dealer fee.

Because of this, I just always assumed that Benelli and it's subsidiaries were their own stand alone company and that Benelli was at the top.

Maybe you could see the logic in my thinking that Benelli and Beretta were separate.

Now... it could be Beretta also requires a dealer fee and that more dealers are likely to carry Beretta over Benelli as it probably sell more often. I really don't know.

Anyways, that is why I thought the way I did and was surprised, but thankful, to learn something new.

The funny thing is that Beretta is owned by a family, and has no stockholders to answer to. So, a lot of things are confusing.

Cimarron and Taylor's and Company are Uberti. Look for them under those brands.
