Beretta PX4 Storm 40 Full Size PROBLEMS!

I have a brand new PX4 that has fail to feed problems and slide will not stay open on last round.I have shot it 4 times each time it was clean with light oil with 4 different types of ammo and 4 brand new 10rd.mags.

Does it happen with all 4 mags?

Sounds like a bad magazine, if not I think beretta only comes with a 1 year warranty, so send it in as soon as you can since yours is new. Just move quickly because a day over warranty and your SOL. Beretta makes good guns but there customer service is terrible.

Yup my 3rd day shooting all 4 of my mags and my friends 2 mags gun would not feed at all I went home and found rounds had steep angle going into chamber and edge of shell hangs up on sharp edge of chamber when I cleaned gun I was finding flakes of brass inside.I think I fixed my fail to feed problem I took some angle out on feed ramp and gave it a good polish job 4th. day 190rds. and no feed problems so far now slide will not stay open on last roundany idea's how to fix?

are you riding the slide release with a thumb or finger?
Did you change out the slide release levers? Or just remove them for cleaning? it is possible to get the spring installed backwards/upside down so the spring is not pushing on the slide hold open/releases properly. However that usually would cause the slide to lock open prematurely, not fail to engage.
There could be something wrong with the internal leg of the slide release lever. And as a result you may not be getting good contact between the lever leg and the magazine follower.
If the fail to lock on last round is only one magazine then it could be a bad follower or a bad spring.
If you buddy has a PX4 you can try switching the hold open levers out and see if the problem persists.
It is not reliable to check last round hold open feature with just hand cycling, so you may have to take it out shooting to know for sure.

The slide open on last round problem started last time I shot it and 190rds.it does not matter what mag I used all 4 same thing I had mags stored full for two weeks also never removed lever with slide off lever spring works good I am thinking it's the mag follower I might try and stretch out mag spring and clean inside mags and some RemOil see if that works I have a little over 700rds. thru gun.
