It's unfortunate that it seems to have turned out to be a flaming pile of poo... Always nice to have options.

Remington does make at least 1 fairly decent pistol. The 1911s they've been producing have been relatively well regarded (even the 9mm ones once you toss the POS factory extractor)... Nothing else though.

After the R51, not sure if anyone really wants one of these Remingtons. For $300, the better option is a Canik TP9SA. It has an 18 round capacity, comes with a bunch of extras, and has a great trigger. Also goes bang every time, like it's supposed to.
