Thanks for the input guys. I haven't shot the Baer yet, but shoot the 97b and kimber 9mm better than other 45 1911s I've had. I dont need to sell the Baer, but I don't like hoarding, hahaha.

Take your Baer home and give it a go. I've owned several 1911's but when I got a Les Baer SRP it was like someone else was shooting it! I shot it significantly better with it than any 1911 before. I did something stupid and traded it and really regret it.

I would never own a 1911. I would always seek out more modern technology and take advantage of advances in reliability as well. That's just me.

Definitely keep the Les Baer! I don't have any 1911s myself...just haven't got the itch for one yet, but my dad and my uncle both have a Les Baer each. As another member posted above, it is almost like someone else is shooting whenever I pick those things up. They almost aim themselves. Incredible shooters...
