Witness Elite Limited vs CZ Tactical Sport

I have the opportunity to get a Witness Elite Limited in 9mm. Should I consider it over a CZ? What is everybody's experience with the Witness? It's my feeling that CZ has better service/support. Grip size? Reliability?

    Thanks for your feedback.

For eye candy, you can not beat a Tanfoglio Witness Limited. I have both and if I had the opportunity to get a Limited, I would definitely go that route. These don't come around too often and are also off roster. Both are very reliable. Tac Sport trigger is around 2lbs while Limited is around 3.5-4 lbs. Grip size is very similar. Limited has extended thumb safety and is also pre drilled for optics or thumb rest. Has adjustable rear sight too.

CalGun answer, get both because they are awesome. You won't regret it. And while you are at it, get a Sig P226 X5 too.

Your feeling about Service and support are correct, accessories is another factor. The Elite would be nice to have though.

That's a sweet trio. The pic reminds me how Sig with its outside rail and high bore axis can still hold its own with those two similar designed tac drivers.Amazing guns...all three.

The CZ is like your dream girl .You feel like the luckiest guy in the world till you meet her sister...Tanfoglio.

If you don't go with the witness elite I'll be happy to consider buying it. If you don't mind passing on seller or give him my contact. Thanks

So which gun did you decide to purchase OP? I hope you got the Tanfoglio. You can always find a Tac Sport. Or did you decide to splurge and get both?

Really? How is this even a question? IMO, Tanfoglios are the finest hanguns currently in production. Exceptional quality and craftsmanship. And they are made in Italy. Tanfos are everything a CZ wishes it could be and then some. I would take a Tanfo over a Sig X series or highend 1911 anyday.

On second thought, Tanfos are terrible. PM me the seller's info and I will dispose of it for them.

I have the EAA Match Elite in 9mm with a 10mm and 22 lr conversion kit. A friend has the CZ Tactical in 40 S & W. The EAA trigger is better, no creep and very smooth. The CZ trigger is fine, perhaps crisper but with creep. Fit & finish of the EAA is better, it seems to me. There both great guns, I'll probably get a CZ TS based on having the slightly longer barrel and "just because".

If you can get the elite, I would take it over the CZ. . .although, you could always get the CZ sent to get customized and get best of both worlds. Do keep in mind that the elite magazines and accessories are going to run you big bucks.

I got nothing. turned out to be a scam. Photo was fuzzy. He responded to my first inquiry by asking for my cell phone number so we can meet for sale the next day. Red flags all over the place! I asked for more photos and I asked a bunch of questions. At that point all communication stopped. I found out that others had flagged his ad as a possible scam.

But, thank you everybody for the feedback. If a legitimate one comes up, I will be all over it.

you held my witness when I got my k2 so you're familiar with the grip size. it's considerably smaller than the tactical sport which is a much higher capacity and a true double stack. if I remember you went for the k2 because of the smaller grip but the witness isn't unmanageable where as the ts could be for those with smaller hands.

That sucks. At least you didn't get scammed. Was it an ad from Armslist?
