Apex trigger & no reset on M&P Shield 9mm

    Hi all,

I installed an Apex trigger in my M&P Shield 9, just the trigger (not the full kit) as I want to just get a feel for the trigger before changing springs, etc. I have not shot it at the range yet. I like the feel of the trigger when dry firing. However, I don't hear or feel the reset for some reason. There is no "click". Any thoughts on that? YouTube vids on installs that others have done show there is a noticeable reset "click" sound.

Just switching out the trigger has no effect on the reset

      Clarification

It appears to reset but I just don't hear it "click" or feel it reset... I Googled that the trigger bar might need to be adjusted. Or, I'll just have to test shoot it.

The reset on the M&Ps including the shield have a very light reset. Hardly noticeable compared to my other pistols.

I have an Apex FSS in my 5" ported pro core along with the RAM. The RAM makes a huge difference in the reset. It's not as pronounced as a Glock reset but it's way better than the non-RAM FSS.

            YMMV......

IG you have an older style sear block the ram will work for m&p. Not the sheild. You have to adjust the lpop on the back end of the trigger bar.
