Recommended light

Anyone have any recommendations for a light that will be going on a USP 45 expert? Initially I wanted a weight such as the Merkle or something similar but I figured I can get a light instead and it will served double duty.

Only thing that bothers me is that some of these lights are the same price as when they came out yeas ago. LED technology is always improving so the prices on these should be lower...if anything I wonder if there is newer models with more efficient led's.

I'd look at a Surefire X300 Ultra. I think they make an adapter rail as well for the USP.

Note that the X300 has been refreshed during it's lifetime; the current version is the Ultra and has 600 lumens. I believe the shape is slightly different, relevant for holsters.

Surefire X300 all the way.
I've had a handful of lights and regret just not buying the surefire from he beginning. I had good luck with streamlights though.
