CZ40P - anyone have one?

Hey everyone,
A friend is looking to sell his CZ40P. As a CZ enthusiast, I was somewhat embarrassed when I didn't know about it.

From my research, it's the top end from a CZ40B and the frame of a decocker P01.

Do any of you have one and how do you like it?

I do not own one but i think they are cool. I am not a 40 S&W guy but i would pick up a 40P if i had the chance and the price was acceptable. You can see on the slide were they took off the old 40B roll mark and then remarked it.

Great gun, love the 1911 like grip angle

But yes its a P01 frame with a CZ40b slide

I think the 40P came about because CZ had leftover slides after liquidating all the 40B's Colt left them with after pulling out of their deal.

Well, I shot it and bought it. I still have to go PPT it later in the week but it's "mine". It has a 2004 proof, I was curious when these things were made. It's very handy and light, a little snappy with the 40 S&W but it was an easy and accurate shooter.

One thing that is a departure from my newer CZ's is instead of the takedown alignment notches just forward of the hammer, it's the two big dimples on the left side. The notches are still there for reassembly, slide stop goes in the barrel at the notch, all the way in at the dimples.
