Good Deal on 147 Grain 9mm?

Is this a good deal on 147 grain 9mm: http://sgammo.com/product/speer/1000...nic-ammo-53620 ?

I am not a big shooter of 9mm but think I should add more 147 grain to my stockpile. I know there have been better deals - I missed out on the UMC rebate 147 grain at Cabeleas on Thanksgiving, and had to "settle" for 115 grain for 8 cpr. Bit the deal above on 147 grain looks pretty good to me.

What do you think? Should I buy now at $226 per thousand delivered, or hold out for a better deal? I don't feel any urgency other than I want to keep stocking up before new ammo rules next year.

I'd say a good price. Reloading that round (using Speer) would probably be between .15 - .19 depending on the powder.

Sgammo is always a good price. I'll pay the extra $5 to buy from them. CS is second to none for online ammo buying.

I love SG and their prices, Targetsports too. I don't buy from TS any more because they ship by FedEx and FE will not hold ammo at a hub for pickup. UPS will, and SG uses UPS.

Yeah, its a good deal....it seems the price on ammo is relaxed a bit...plus have you seen all of the .22 ammo available?

What a difference a president makes. I think prices will continue to drop a little more as so many folks were stockpiling ammo with Obama and the potential of 'blame everything on guns' Hillary getting into office.
