Nighthawk Browning

Is anyone familiar with the Nighthawk Browning Hi Power, or better yet put hands on one? I'm looking to pickup a 9mm, and after some help from the community here I think I'm going to end up with the Browning. Love the feel and the idea of owning a classic. I then saw the custom Nighthawk online and all thoughts of budget constraints immediately disappeared. It's not on the registry, but they say I can buy a Mark III and send it in to have it customized.

I've never been a fan of the Browning Hi-Power. But, looking at those pictures makes me wonder why, because those look so good. They deserve a new home in my collection.

Nighthawk is 2yr backup on the hipower. Was told they arnt taking other work.

I don't think the Wilson is in the same class as the Nighthawk Hi Power.

Now a Nighthawk Hi-Power vs. a Heritage Hi-Power review would be interesting.

I guess that's true with the Wilson coming in at around half the price of the Hi-Power.

Just my two cents ... If I were to spend $3500+ on a gun from nighthawk I would want to have the gun they are famous for. The 1911. I have been saving for a nighthawk for a while. Nothing against bhp but its a bhp.

They look great but at the end of the day it's still a bhp with a new paint job. I mean you ever see the 80s Honda Accord that someone repainted and overhauled the engine? Why not just buy a new caddillac and be done with it?

It may be enhanced perfection, except for one item, the trigger. Even with a trigger job, it'll never break as clean as a good 1911, IMHO.

This, the Nighthawk Hi Point I played with was nice but I would take the Springfield Armory Professional or a Wilson Combat over it any day.
