Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

I hear the TRP is fantastic. The 1911 platform is great. I have shot the P226 and G26, but not the TRP. I would get the TRP based solely on the worship this model gets.
My first full size pistol was the Beretta 92FS, but I had a hard time deciding between it and a SIG P226. Then my buddy did a PPT with me for his Vertec model. Decision made!
The Glock 26 is a great sub-compact, and for whatever reason I shoot it better than a full size 17.
You have chosen some great examples. I would also consider a CZ 75 (B was what I shot but SP01 gets the most love). I'm also fond of the HK P2000 in 9mm, and the HK USP .45 as well as SIG's P220 in .45. I shot a Springfield XD9 really well also, but it just doesn't sing to me. I'm not a fan of the 40's or 10mm so I can't comment on those (except I didn't like the Springer XD 40 I shot-very snappy.
From your list, I'd DROS those as TRP then P226, then G26 unless you want a full size G17 or G34. If you can PPT a German/W. German P226, do that first. I would borrow some guns at a range that rents them, if that's a possibility.

I have built quite a collection of lever action rifles, and yes 1911, and be hearing really good things about the Cz75 guns. here is a sneak peak of a few of my lever rifles. Also enjoy Milsurps as well.

that's a nice collection. especially for a kid your age. my first question is what's your budget? my second question is do you have any experience with any of the pistols you're interested in? my third question is what style of trigger and action do you want. and finally what kind if frame do you want? polymer aluminum or steel?

I do not really have a budget but do not want to spend $1500 on a sig p226 if its not any better than a $550 glock, I do not want to pay for the name at least not right now...I have some experience with Beretta 92's, Glocks, and Sigs, and Springfield 1911's. As far as action and trigger and frame I do not have a preference for now what one of each

how often do you shoot your rifles, can make the a difference between 9mm and 45 ammo cost. Do you like to tinker with the guns or leave them stock?

I'd suggest taking some of your rifles to the range with you and rent some pistols. They won't let your rent alone unless you already own something. Otherwise have to bring a buddy.

                  DA/SA (CZ-Sig)vs SAO (1911)

sadly the roster is slim as ****

honestly all the guns go bang and hit where you aim if your aim is true.everything I'm going to talk about is stock. the glock is a good place to start. super simple you can swap out and modify parts as you find out what you like and don't like. if you want a Sig pick up a gently used one if you can. preferably pre lci and mag disconnect. I'm partial to czs the sp01 is a good pick up but the 75Sao is a nice one too. more consistent trigger but no light strike double action. steel frames eat recoil due to weight its physics. the Beretta is one of my least favorites for its long heavy double action trigger. hard to go wrong with a Springfield loaded as well. really you can't go wrong it's just going to be what you find to be most right for you.

I shoot about once a month not including SASS... I tend to leave stock besides competition guns...And 9mm vs 45 cost what much of a difference but do prefer 9 cause I have a marlin camp 9 and a ruger pc9...Thanks
