I have a Vaquero convertible between 45 ACP and 45 LC.

I also have the New Model Blackhawk convertable between 357 MAG and 9MM

They are both outstanding SA revolvers with no issues whatsoever. The only thing I can say after having the two of them for almost 10 years is that I shoot the Blackhawk in 9MM the most by a huge margin. Not because it is any better, it's just that I have a bunch of 9MM autos and buy my 9MM by the 1000 round case and have tons of it around at the range so it is far cheaper to do a lot of blasting with it.

rp55, couple of nice looking Vaqueros, thanks for sharing.

Thanks tmh1, Uberti does beautiful work.

I got my El Patron out to the range today. So much fun to shoot. It favors a 6 o'clock hold, which I like. I shot Armscor .38 spl 158 gr and Armscor .357 mag 125 gr FMJ. I had the most fun with the .357 mag. The pistols seemed to favor .357, easier to drop holes next to each other with it. I want to try some .357 158 gr ammo next.

Here's my target. This is my first 50 rounds out if the revolver at 7yrds. I was also bouncing around a plastic bottle with no problem at 15 plus yards. Oh, and the trigger is incredible.

Hey that is great shooting! The El Patron looks like a lot of Sixgun for the money.

Are you sure there is no CAS in your future

            It looks like this:

Here are my Vaqueros and 1911:

            And my 1873 and scattergun:

That's a great looking collection, midvalleyshooter.

No designs on CAS at this time... but one of these days I may ride into Dodge and clear the streets of assassins, horse thieves and no good dirty rotten card cheats.
