    Sig P320 X-Five

This just came across my instagram feed

    Dug around and found this...

Now I'm really curious if I would be able to "upgrade" my 320 to be an X-Five or if they won't sell the slides and grip modules separately, or if they won't be compatible (like the 45acp parts aren't interchangeable with the rest)

Wow, another awesome firearm that isn't available in CA.

I'll put this down on my shopping list so if anyone has one, you know who to pm.

That looks like a fun blaster; I'd like to try it out.

I'm waiting for SIG to get smart and build a single shot 22 using a 320 FCG.

        ( hint, hint )

Well it would be available if it's compatible with the existing P320 FCU (and you have one!)

I believe this is what Sig is now calling the P320 Target they displayed last year.
While I own several Sigs and like them, Sig tends to over promise and under deliver.

Are 80 percent pistol builds still allowed in CA?

The serialized piece is just pressed plate. If someone could make jigs you would only need a hydraulic press and drill press and you can make it yourself. Sig will sell you everything else. It could be the AK of the pistol world.

If Sig does that, expect CA to adopt CT-style restrictions on firearms parts. Good luck getting a firing pin from out of state, lol.

Watch them not offer this as a kit.

That is the understatement of the year.

However, I will admit that X series sigs are awesome. I've had 2 (220 X-Six and 226 X-Five Entry) and both were amazing. However every factory built sig I have owned was a POS. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me four times... and Ill boycott your crappy products and talk crap about them for the rest of my life.

I have two X-Fives (well, one is my wife's) which I love, and a P320 which is underwhelming. I shot it a few times, couldn't hit the broadside of a barn and put it back in the safe and have barely touched it since then. I've only kept it because of the possibility of future upgradeability. That was after all the whole selling point. If I could turn the P320 into an X-Five I would be ecstatic.

Will they be production legal in USPSA?
If you want change you have to put in your 2 cents, you can't just sit on the sidelines and whine.
